"Hi Duncan,
A little delayed but I just want to say a huge thank you for our weekend in Snowdonia. Bec and I had a fantastic time, you taught us map reading in a clear, succinct and non condescending way and not even any jokes about girls and map reading!!
Seriously though, I am really grateful for your time and input into the course. I would highly recommend this to anyone who was thinking they want to improve on their map reading skills, or in our case, learn from scratch. We walked, climbed and scrambled in the most beautiful of locations, had great fun and pushed ourselves more than we ever would if we had attempted the area on our own… Lisa T."

"Evening Duncan. I finally have time to send you a e-mail. So firstly I must say what a great time I had on the initial (Survival Instructor) course.
Time flew by and it was hard to leave on the Sunday, just getting into the stride of the training, and by Sunday the group dynamics had formed and people were working well together, just watching how someone would share their (kit) or offer help without being told or asked, say's a lot about the quality and professional possibilities of the people that are on the course.
Having had a week to digest the layout and design of your instructor training course, I'm impressed. Not much impresses me these days, but the layout and structure of the course has, I look forward to the remaining classes.
Paul Cobham. Director of Survival School Canada "

"Hello Duncan, hope you made it home in good time. We really did have a great day and were on a real high, buzzing with our new found knowledge and vowing to go out and use it soon. Simon has ordered two Silva compasses so looking forward to putting them to the test in due course. Thanks also to Jay for his help and enthusiasm and for being such a good contour!
All the best, Claire and Simon "
