SLEEPWALKER 2009

Sleepwalker 2008 was a resounding success! 100% positive feedback, 100% would do it again!

We hope to see teams from the Royal Marines and all services taking part in 2009 so let's make a race of it... 8 months training and racing before the Sleepwalker! Date:  28November 2009 - Start Time: 18:00hrs - Venue: Henderson Hall, Talybont on Usk, Powys. The course is app. 20 Miles, max altitude 1600' and will provide an exciting challenge to all runners. Climb is moderate and the route maintains interest throughout. 

Entry Fee: £16/18 UKA/ TRA License Number TBC=09

The course record is 3:06 following a route change in 2008 and the 2007 champion did not defend last year. Expect 2009 to be hotly contested as the word gets out this route is all runnable in any weather! It should be noted that this is a TRAIL race, held at the end of November and as such should be approached with safety in mind. All competitors will be required to demonstrate adequate equipment and there is a 5 hour time limit.
